Batiste Tropical

Hello there;

Where would we be without dry shampoo?
I know myself I cannot live without the stuff. If you have read my Empties post, you will have seen that I used Girlz dry shampoo which is only a cheapo one. After a recent trip to Boots, I treated myself to some Batiste. It has been a while since I brought any of them so I wanted to try the newer flavours.

I adore the smell of coconut, so it was only right that I picked up this one.

And boy am I glad I did. The smell of this just reminds me of holiday. Literally all I want to do is smell this all day. If I could wear this as a body spray, I would.

The packaging is really fun and I love how bright it is. Really stands out on my dressing table.

The product itself is really good. I do find this can leave a little more of a white residue, compared to the Girlz one. But Batiste stays around longer, easily 6 hours before my hair starts to look greasy again.

This stuff does exactly what it says on the bottle "Instant Hair Refresh". I wash my hair every other day, and this is great for when I need that little bit of omft back into my hair.

Love it and I will defiantly got back to this smell again.

  2. I just got the original one and although it does leave a white residue, it works much better at getting rid of shampoo than other brands that I have tried.

  3. I think it's fine to apply if you have a mirror in front of you, but otherwise it's just really awkward and you end up looking like you've been snowed on :P This post has reminded me to buy some more of this actually! I've never tried the tropical one as I'm a bit of a diehard cherry fan but I'll definitely be checking out the new range of scents, thanks for the tip off :)

  5. Dry shampoo is my best friend. My hair goes greasy after sleeping on it for one night - so frustrating! I like the brown one that batiste do as it means I don't have to worry about looking like my hairs gone grey! xo

  7. I guess, I need this. I don't really use shampoo everyday for I only use it once or twice a month. I use conditioner every single day though. Do you think this will help my curly hair? (Please reply on my blog so I can read it right away. thanks!~)

  9. I've been using dry shampoo a lot more recently but I love the cherry one, it reminds me of a toy I had when I was a kid who smelled like chemical cherries haha x
