If you sit and think about it, can you remember that one item that really got your make up enthusiasm started? That one product that just imprinted on your heart and you knew from then it was a game changer?
I can remember mine. I had used make up for a while but it was always really cheap stuff. Like the old Avon teenage line, Colour Trend. Now don't get me wrong, Avon has really brought that line on now and some of the items are lovely. But back when I was 13/14 (over 10 years ago) it wasn't what it is now.
When I was 16, I started working and with me still living at home and no bills to pay. All of the money was mine. I was really starting to get into my make up. Needing to look my best for the boys -wink wink- and I came across MAC. It took me a while to be brave enough to spend so much money on a item of make up. But when the Wonder Woman line was launched in Spring 2011 I caved. The rest as they say is history....

A pen eyeliner at the time for me was crazy, such a novelty. I was dying to try it. I can still remember it coming to this day. I was so excited to rip the packaging open and draw all over my eyes. Back then I was REALLY into thick black eyeliner, the nibs on these pens are thick so it was right up my street. I wore it to death. The nib now is all frayed and gross. I don't use this anymore obviously. But I just can't part with it. This pen really started it all for me. Got me trying more higher end make up, I soon went onto the Fluid Line, and well ive not budged since.
