Seventh Heaven

Hello there;

Do you remember me going to Fabb Birmingham back in October? If not click here to see my post.
Amongst all of the other amazing brands there, MeMeMe has a lovely stand. Upon which we got a massive goodie bag of their products. In there was Seventh Heaven*, a product I have never heard before. All I knew is what it said on the box "Enriched Moisturising Face base". I was intrigued to say the least.

I do love MeMeMe packaging, it just so.... oh I just love it alright. I can't think of a word for it. The pot inside is just as gorgeous. It has that real high end look to it, that it would look great on any dressing table. With its frosted glass outer and minimalist text on the front. It really isn't over the top.  And at £15 for 30ml of product, I do think that this is an absolute steal.

The product is very similar to a primer, the idea behind this is you apply it before your make up giving you a smooth base before you apply your foundation. Personally I have found if I use this just before my foundation it just doesn't work. But if I use this then a primer on my problem areas, t-zone and chin. It is a wonder cream. Seriously.

Seventh Heaven is super hydrating leaving your skin in the best position for applying make up too, its consistency is really thick but a little goes a long way. Also ideally you need to give it 5 minutes to sink in before you apply anything else to your face. You can see the difference once this is applied. It evens out your skin tone and really brightens your skin. Like I said above I do apply additional primer to my troubled areas, but I can be an oily mess. I wore this for a night out and the staying power of my makeup was amazing. I also forgot to spray my setting spray, I thought by hour two my face would be half way down my outfit. But nope it still look fresh when I got home.

It has a slight fruity smell to it, not too overpowering but it is defiantly noticeable. I don't think this would irritate sensitive skin, but still be careful as I would hate for you to break out. Seventh Heaven has now become a staple in my makeup collection when I need long lasting make up.

Have you tried Seventh Heaven before?
Or anything similar to this, let me in know in the comments.

  3. Since it's hydrating it might be perfect for my dehydrated skin which I sometimes tend to get dry patches with certain foundations. Definitely worth looking into anyway x

  6. You're right about the packaging - it's the perfect mix of cute and classy! I'd love to give this a go - at the moment I use Clarins Beauty Flash Balm, but it's quite pricey!
