What's In My Bag*

Hello there;

Hands up, who likes to be nosey and look into other peoples bags?! Yes me too! I am always curious what people have in them. But what if you lost it? What if someone pinched it? What would you do? Insure My Handbag has you covered!

Firstly let me tell you about my bag. This is from LYDC and is part of the Anna Smith range sadly this bag is now discontinued. It is made of leather, with black and teal detailing on the edges. Also with studs on the sides giving it a little bit of edge. I was looking for a large bag that would go with any outfit and this bag hasn't let me down. If you have seen me out and about to blogging events I am sure you have seen me with this bag.

This is what is inside my bag;

- Car keys; I drive everywhere I could not be without my little pap pap.
- Odeon tickets; Well as you know Fifty Shades of Grey has been my entire life recently.
- Radley Purse; I have had this purse for a few years now and it shows no signs of ageing. I love Radley purses as they are so timeless.
- Rimmel Exaggerate Liner and Makeup Revolution Awesome Double Flick Eyeliners; These are two of my favourite eyeliners. When I go out I need to keep these with me so I can top up any pesky areas that run away.
- Pen; You never know when you need a pen.
- Mac Studio Fix Pressed Powder; My all time favourite powder. I cannot leave the house without it. I am one of those girls that likes to keep any oil at bay and this little guy certainly does the job well.
- Burt's Bees Lip Balm; I cannot stand having dry lips. I always have a lip balm on me, the second I feel my lips drying I will be slapping on my balm.
- L'Oreals Blake's Pure Red; Currently my obsession. If I am wearing a red lip, I am wearing this shade. Obviously I need to keep this on me at all times in case I need to do a touch up.
- Mac Shy Girl; Another obsession of mine right now. Sadly Shy Girl doesn't last as long as Blake's Pure Red so I am constantly topping this up when I wearing it.
- The Library of Fragrance Sex On The Beach; THE BEST SMELL EVER. It doesn't last very long on me, well I don't think it does. Due to this I find myself constantly spraying myself. Plus, who doesn't want to smell like a cocktail?
- iPhone6 + Headphones; Well my phone is attached to me constantly. And even though I drive everywhere, if I do need to walk I NEED to be listening to music and by music I mean Taylor Swift.
- Makeup Revolution Ultra Velour Can't We Just Make Love Instead; My favourite lip gloss, this looks amazing on top of Shy Girl. My go to nude lip look. I love how creamy these glosses are and they aren't overly glossy either.
- Soap & Glory Hand Food; It's winter, my hands are dry this is a must have in my eyes. Or any hand cream. But I adore the smell of Hand Food in all of its marshmellowness.

As you can see, its nothing really out of the blue. But if I lost some of the items within my bag well I would be devastated. That's where Insure My Handbag comes in.

These are a handbag insurance company that not only insures your handbag but the contents, so basically a girls best friend. At the moment I pay £5 a month to insure just my phone which I thought was cheap but since finding out about Insure my Handbag I can tell you now that isn't as cheap as I once thought.

Insure my Handbag have three levels of insurance starting from as little as £3.99, this is already cheaper than my standalone phone insurance. They cover theft, loss and accidental damage this is including designer handbags up to £1,500. My bag was only around the £35 mark and I would want to replace that, but imagine if you have a gorgeous Micheal Kors bag I am sure you would want that replacing.

But how much will it cost me if I need to put in a claim, I hear you ask me? £25. That its. The excess is £25. That is cheaper than most banks, this is a win win situation. I myself am signing up to this as I like the comfort of knowing my personal belonging are covered. I will be going for the Social cover as this covers everything I need. And for £2 more a month from what I was paying for my phone alone this just makes perfect sense.

  4. I’m the same I love to have a good nosey ;) Your bag is gorgeous and I love the stud detailing on the side :) I think I should definitely think about insuring my handbag as I own quite a few designer ones and would be distraught if anything ever happened to them.
