Big Hair Don't Care

Hello there;

I dyed my hair blonde for around 6 years straight and since going back dark 2 years ago, my hair has never been in great condition. Its a little lifeless really. I am now on a life long aim to keep my hair in the best possible condition. Keeping it thick, volumeised and healthy. To do that I am currently using the following products.

L'Oreal Elvive Firbrology have recently been launched and if I am honest, I don't think they have been spoken about enough. My hair is very fine and is in dire need of a lift, since using these two I have noticed a massive difference in my hair. If I leave it to air dry they don't work to the best of of their abilities, but blow dry it and well bugger me. My hair feels so much thicker. When using the shampoo I like to leave it on for a good 5 minutes making sure I massage it well into my roots, paying a lot of attention to my crown. Then the conditioner I use on my ends, I have found that this can sometimes be a little heavy on my roots leaving them to get greasy fast. Overall though I am a massive lover of these two.

Next up is my Lush duo that again I am obsessing over. I recently brought Big Shampoo and Sea Spray Hair Mist in a little haul post I did, you can read that here. A little like Fibrology, Big Shampoo gives a lot of volume to your hair, sea salt is known for adding a lot of volume to your hair and the extra ingredients coconut oil and seaweed gives your hair softness and shine. May I add on that Big smells incredible. The Sea Salt spray a lot like other sea salt sprays, I use after I have detangled my hair and spray it directly to my roots before I blow dry it. The results have been incredible. I have used this to add a more "beachy" look to my hair, this does add a slight residue to my hair but its not unworkable. 100% worth investing in if you are looking for a product to add volume directly to the roots.

Next up is the Color Wow Raise The Roof* this stuff well no words. I use this before a night out, as the volume it adds is out of this world. Like the Sea Salt spray, I detangle my hair and play this directly on my roots. It has a very salon like scent to it and feels weightless when applied to your hair. When I use his I like to blow dry my hair upside down to get maximum lift and trust me, this guy works!

Wonder what will work best for you? I have recently been sent this little info card, which I feel will help a lot of people.

  5. I swear by that L'Oreal shampoo/conditioner for thinner hair. It's the best. Batiste XXL dry shampoo also works a treat for root lift.
