Hello there;
Ever go out with friends and think "no I am not going to spend a lot" and then three hours later you need to remortgage your house? Yeah this happened to me the other Tuesday. After having a lovely meal with Hannah and Emma, we hit the shops in Nottingham. First stop of course had to be Lush.
I only intended of buying one item in here, which was the Big shampoo as I am on a massive I NEED TO INCREASE THE VOLUME IN MY HAIR hype. After reading great reviews on this I had to get it. But whilst talking to one of the assistance in there I was talked into getting the Sea Spray (getting talking into, more like you should try this as well and Sian goes, okay! I am so weak willed). And how can I go into a Lush and not get a couple of bath bombs, so I walked out with two if my faves Dragons Egg and Fizzbanger.
Well you will be shocked when I say I didn't go into Boots. I went to Superdrug for a change. Or for the fact they sell Makeup Revolution, ill let you decide which one is the truth. In here I went a little cray cray. Yeah I never say that in real life. They had a 3 for 2 offer on so naturally I took advantage of this picking up the new L'Oreal Paris False Lash Superstar, Maybelline Color Tattoo in Pink Gold and then Makeup Revolution Awesome Metals Foil Finish in Rose Gold. I was initially finished with these then on the walk to the tills I picked up the new Elvive Fibrology shampoo and conditioner, because again I WANT ALL THE VOLUME IN THE WORLD IN MY HAIR. And I didn't finish there, my friend Holly had mentioned the Bondi Sands dark tan a couple of days before. Now I own 8 bottles of fake tan, yes 8. Excessive I am well aware, but every girl needs a 9th right?! It is new and it was on offer so it is 100% justifiable.
On the way to Lush, Hannah confessed she had never been in a Space NK; I very nearly fainted. I had to introduce her to this magical and beautiful shop. I had been meaning to get and try the Nuxe Reve De Miel for a long while now. And I totally get the hype now, this stuff is incredible totally worth the £9.50. The reason I was in Nottingham was for the Crabtree & Evelyn event and when I go to a event in a shop I always feel compelled to buy something as a thank you for letting me go. I think it was Emma that said this hand cream smelt amazing, the girl has taste. It smells amazing! Almost too good to use. I need more of this line stat!
Have you been feeling spendy lately?

I'm the same! I said last weekend I wasn't going to spend anything. Then I ended up going into Debenhams and the GinZing Origins Moisturiser was on sale ... and Lush was next door so I had to go in there ... and next thing you know - I'm whipping my credit card out everywhere :(

Can you believe I've only been in Space NK once?! Most likely because there isn't actually one in Derby but there is one where my boyfriend lives, but I just kind of forgot it was there. I have been a little spendy lately but I've cheated slightly as I've been using the £500 House of Fraser gift card I won, so that's been going on some makeup, a few clothes and a dress or the BAFTAs x
