The Blog Made Me Buy It

I am a self confessed beauty magpie, pretty patterns, colours and packaging just sucks me in. I always find it so hard to walk away from a product that is a packaged perfectly. In this post I am going to tell you about a few items that I own, which I find it almost impossible to use as they are just to darn pretty and also that I most likely brought them because of a hype around them... oops.

Keeping My Skin Soft

I hate moisturising after the bath/shower until I find this combination. The Beauty Kitchen Inspire Me Brightening & Toning Body Polish* is fast becoming my most favourite scrubs! It contains so many minerals and oils that help your skin detox and exfoliate. I prefer to use this in the shower opposed to using it on dry skin. In small circular motions I go about my body giving it a bloody good scrub. When I first opened the jar it was VERY lemon grassy, now this isn't my all time favourite scent ill be honest, but upon using it in the shower it isn't as overpowering as I thought it would be. The pink salt grains are perfect for giving your skin a gentle scrub, not too abrasive. Since using this I have noticed a difference on my arms the most as I tend to suffer from dry skin on my under upper arm, the dry skin has reduced quite a lot. Not only do I like the product but the kilner jar is comes in is gorgeous, air tight to keep the product fresh and I will be totally reusing it once the product has all gone. I think it will be the right size to keep cotton pads in. You can pick up this little beauty from selected Holland & Barrett stores or from here

Once I am all scrubbed, washed and dried next on the list is to keep myself moisturised and I have fell head over heels in love with the Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Butter Cream. Who doesn't want to walk around smelling of limes?! I have always been a fan on the Soap & Glory body butters, Righteous Butter is and will always be up there at the top with my favourites. But as it is summer and the thought of feeling a little more fresh and citrusy just makes this cream even better. With the mixture of the scrub and this body butter not only does my skin smell AMAZING but it also feels amazing. Definitely a duo I am going to be using for a long time.

Have you tried either of these products?!

July 2015 Favourites

Sian Marie Beauty July 2015 Favourites

It was really hard to pick my favourites this month as I have been loving so many items. After a lot of debating with myself I narrowed it down to these four items. The easiest out of the bunch to pick was Pixi Glow Tonic. I picked this up from the flagship store in London on Carnaby Street. As soon as I used this one I was at home my skin loved it. Its the first toner I have used that contains 5% glycolic acid and I am more than impressed with the outcome!

Next up is an oldie but a goodie. Benefit Rockateur has featured in a previous favourite but as a beauty blogger new blushers come into your life and the older blushers get pushed to one side. Sadly this is what happened to my Rockateur it went into my Alex draws and well that is where it stayed. But I have took it out of its retirement and boy I forgot how much I loved this blusher. It gives me the perfect amount of colour on my cheeks giving them a flushed look and if I fancy skipping highlighter; no problem with the slight shimmer in giving a subtle glow.

Now I have two items that came into my life in July. My friend Katie went to America and as I am cheeky I asked her to pop into a Sephora and grab me a Kat Von D Tattoo eyeliner. This eyeliner does not budge an inch, I am very impressed with it. Its not as black as I thought it was going to be but its staying power certainly makes up for it. Lastly is Soap & Glory Archery this is in Blondshell. I have my brows done by Katie who I previously mentioned and she treats them to Billion Dollar Brows, so they tend to be a little more darker but once that dye has faded this brow product is the perfect shade to fill in sparse areas of my brows without them looking overly done. And its a dupe for the ABH Brow Wizz for £8 what isn't to love?!

What have you been loving this month?!

Empties #7

Hello there;

A new year, a new fresh load of empties for you. As I am on the "I am trying to use up everything I own" phase empties post might become a little more frequent. I aim for 10 items per post and as I type this up I already have 6 items waiting in my bag!
