If there is a fool proof/quick way to give my skin moisture, I want it. So when I heard that The Body Shop was bringing out an Overnight Serum-In-Oil. I couldn't wait to add it to my collection. And of course smoother it all over my face.

20.09.14 - Nottingham Meet Up!

Hello there;

As you can tell from the title, I have recently been to a meet up! And do ya know what, it was a fantastic day. So I had to share it with you all! I picked up Megan at 11am and we drove up to Nottingham. We were meeting the girls in a non alcohol bar/restaurant called Sobar. If you know Nottingham at all, its just up from Costa Coffee, across from Walkabout.

A couple of months ago Kenzie from Lemonaid Lies sent me a link to like a Facebook page of a brand called The Library Of Fragrance. I had never heard of them personally as they were not released in the UK yet.... I watched them countdown to the release date on Twitter & Facebook. When the release date arrived I was so excited to go find them in Boots. After trawling around the store I found them. All 28 of them, and oh I was so in love.

06.09.2014 Bluewater Meet Up

Hello there;

On the 5th September I made a long drive down south (3 hours 30 mins away) to go meet a few girls. Sounds silly right? HA you are wrong. I had the most amazing weekend. When I arrived at my hotel, checked in and dumped my bags in my room, I hot footed it to the ever so grand Bluewater shopping centre in Dartford. I met Julie after work and we went for a cheeky Nandos and a wander about the centre. The day after myself and Julie met at 12 and set up Browns in Bluewater. Brown is an absolutely stunning restaurant. I was so impressed with how the room looked and how friendly the staff were. Defiantly check it out if you are in Bluewater. The food is amazing!

Browns had already set the table for us, we just had to do the decorating.

Now I am not one to talk about nail products on here. But one of my biggest pet peeves in my life is how much my nails snap. My job is very harsh on my hands. I work in chillers so I am constantly fighting a battle with dry hands. And the gloves (that I usually forget to put on) means my nails get a real battering. So when I was given the opportunity to try a nail strengthener, I was all over it.

Lush Spa Experience - My First Event

Hello there;

A few weeks ago I had one of the most exciting emails in my entire life. Lush had contacted me about going to a bloggers evening at the store in Meadowhall. Now as you are fully aware, I LOVE Lush. I received this email just as I walked through the door after an absolute rubbish day at work. I was in my kitchen and practically jumped up and down in excitement. The 31st August was fast approaching and it hit me. I won't know anyone there. Now I am a confident person usually this wouldn't bother me. But for some reason I started to panic. But with help from Georgina from She Might Be Loved, who works in that branch, sent a tweet out to see who was going. I quickly I had a reply for the lovely Becky who blogs over at The Little Blog Of Beauty. Who asked me if I wanted to meet up before hand. I am so thankful to her for this as it kept my nerves at bay.

When we arrived to the Lush store, it looked shut. The shutter was down, no lights where on. For a couple of minutes everyone was was waiting looked puzzled. But this mystery was soon resolved when we saw someone lighting candles. Soon after we could hear Charlie and The Chocolate Factory music being played. I love that film so to hear that was very enjoyable. We were greeted by 3 very welcoming faces. I wish I wrote their names down now, I am so sorry ladies. But you were all lovely. 

Aromatherapy Associates Revive Evening*

I love a bath. If you wasn't aware already. I'm sure you was. I am a massive Lush fan. But when I was sent some Aromatherapy Associates to try out, well as you can imagine I was more than willing. Especially when this was also a belated Birthday present! Thank you Stephanie.
