06.09.2014 Bluewater Meet Up

Hello there;

On the 5th September I made a long drive down south (3 hours 30 mins away) to go meet a few girls. Sounds silly right? HA you are wrong. I had the most amazing weekend. When I arrived at my hotel, checked in and dumped my bags in my room, I hot footed it to the ever so grand Bluewater shopping centre in Dartford. I met Julie after work and we went for a cheeky Nandos and a wander about the centre. The day after myself and Julie met at 12 and set up Browns in Bluewater. Brown is an absolutely stunning restaurant. I was so impressed with how the room looked and how friendly the staff were. Defiantly check it out if you are in Bluewater. The food is amazing!

Browns had already set the table for us, we just had to do the decorating.

A few weeks ago I received an email asking me if I was willing to try out some new foods. Well I love food and I love trying out new food, so this was an opportunity I couldn't turn down. 

The brand is called ilumi, they are a company that produce nut, gluten and milk free meals. At first you think, oh god are these going to be bland? I think that is how a lot of people perceive these sort of meals. Well let me tell you, ilumi is hella tasty. 

What ilumi have to say;

I think they have really hit it on the head here. I received 4 microwaveable meals that are a 1 person serving, they were either a complete meal or you had to add pasta or potatoes to make it a full meal. Which for a person who works 36.5 hours a week is so convenient for me. I struggle to make healthy meals to take to work. This is a great way to get that good healthy and hearty meal without the faff. 

Quick disclaimer - I took these to work, so the photos of the food itself were taken on my iPhone. No posh food set up here sorry. 

BirchBox - Good Enough To Eat

Hello there;

Just a quick note - If you like my monthly boxes posts, I will only be doing BirchBox for the forseeable future as I have cancelled my GlossyBox. For a couple of reasons, saving a bit of money each month and lets face it; its not been great recently has it?

Now I have that out of the way, lets crack on.

This months theme is Good Enough To Eat. A little strange theme if you ask me. I was expecting a lot of "food based" products. But I was wrong, but not disappointed. Another great box from good ol' BirchBox.

Get Ready With Me

Recently I have been added to peoples favourite blogs to read. 

Now can I just say, I think that is crazy. I have started this blog as something to do really apart from working and sleeping; and it has actually become a second job to me. 

To think people might actually wait for my next post to come or even enjoy the dribble that I write amazes me. 

So if you are one of them people, thank you. It is because of you I keep going with this blog. 

My little space on the internet is slowly growing and its blowing my mind. 

Right enough of that soppy stuff >.<

GlossyBox - Be Mine

Hello there;

Is it just me or does it feel like we only got Januarys GlossyBox last week? Not that I am complaining, I love it when they come mid month :)

This box had a lot of making up to do as the last couple of months have been a little bit of a let down. Plus, this box was free for me. So if it was rubbish I was going to cancel my subscription. Defiantly a lot riding on it.

But oh my, was I impressed. 

Valentines 2014

Hello there;

A couple of days late, but this is a what I did for valentines. 

Sorry now for the bad quality photos I had to use my iPhone while I was out. With the rain and wind I didn't fancy taking the big boy camera out and about. 

Myself and Palmer travelled all the way up to York. I make that sounds like ages, but its only 90ish minutes away from us. I have been to York when I was younger but can't really remember it. So we took this chance for some exploring! 

We parked up in the designer outlet and caught the park and ride into York, id recommend doing this as it is free to park and its only like £6 for two people return. Bargain if you ask me.

Bonfire Night 2013

Hello there;

Oh how I love Bonfire night. I love the warmth of a fire (unless the smoke is burning my eyes out. Not cool).  I love the firework displays. I love bonfire toffee. I love how everyone can get together and all enjoy something so simple. It may just be my most favourite day in the calendar. 

For the past 3 years myself and my boyfriend go into Nottingham to Forest Fields and watch the massive bonfire and firework display. This year we went with our marvellous group of friends ;)

Now it is was a little chilly, so you defiantly need to get wrapped. And it just seemed rude that I didn't do a OOTD, well I guess that should be OOTN, outfit of the night.... yeah okay ill carry on, here it is;
