I'm sure I am not the only one out there who's face become an oil slick in the colder months. My skin drives me mad with it. So toners are a key in my skincare routine, I need to keep that oil at bay and trying to find the perfect toner to do that will always be my life's mission. But when I was recently sent the Pure & Light Organic Essential Floral Toner, I was so excited to try it out!
I have never heard of Pure & Light Organic before I received this toner, but upon doing some research, I love what they are all about.
"Producing a 100% natural, nontoxic and effective skin care which does not compromise on quality, scent, feel, texture and effectiveness is extremely challenging – and we made it."
Who could argue with that?! Everybody loves natural skincare, no one wants to be coating their skin in harsh chemicals.
I am in love with the packaging. The stainless steel finish is gorgeous, so real thought has gone into the design of this product.
As I said before I am look to eradicate oil from my face, I would like my make up to stay longer than 30 minutes. Since using this toner, I have noticed a huge difference in my skin and the longevity of my make up staying in place due to less oil being produced. I have also noticed that I need to use less moisturiser when using this toner as it has moisture retention qualities. Which is a bonus. Now for £35 this is a high end toner so where you are spending that little extra on your toner, you will save on your moisturiser. Do you see my logic there?!
As far as the scent goes, I am not its biggest fan. When I saw it said Orange Blossom, I was expecting more orangey/citrusy scent than floral. I just love me some oranges. Saying that though the scent is not offencive at all, it is floral after all.
I simply adore this toner and what it has done for me and my skin. Defiantly going to be a tough one to beat, I even prefer this to my Elemis toner.

My skin actually becomes drier in the colder months and I struggle to keep hydration levels up. This sounds really interesting for the summer months when I do struggle with more oiliness. Love the packaging and the floral scent sounds lovely x

This sounds amazing, but the floral scent would put me off :( You know me though, I'm all for natural skincare!!

This does sound nice but I'm not a huge toner love. Unless its an exfolianting one, I tend not to use it!

I am starting to expand my toner choices and this seems like a good one. Xx
ReplyDeleteMy skin actually becomes drier in the winter! So I focus more on serums. This sounds lovely for oily skin though!

This looks like a good toner :) I'm gonna use my Birchbox one up first and then look for a new one!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE anything orange scented in skincare, it just smells too good. I would buy this purely for that!

Oh this sounds lovely, I think it would be a little too drying on my annoyingly dry skin but you can't beat a nice toner xx
ReplyDeleteoooooh this sounds good! I am OBSESSED with toners, don't ask me why.... but if you did it'd be because they feel so refreshing and hydrating and just well damn darn lovely on your skin. It's a shame it's not as citrussy scented as you'd imagined as that woulda' been the cherry on the cake but I really wanna' try this, might see if they do a sample size?
