I bloomin' love lip balms! So when I received one of these at Fabb Birmingham I was over the moon to try out Bee Good Vanilla & Honey Lip Balm*
I love the ethos behind Bee Good, it was a business started by a Caroline the wife of a Simon a bee keeper. Caroline had an aspiration to make skincare using up beeswax that Simon's bees had left behind. Caroline has developed the most lovely line of products including cleaners, moisturisers and lip balms. Beeswax is a miracle worker, it has so many amazing properties to it such as a hydrating, rejuvenating and a skin strengthener. So for beeswax to be in a lip balm, well lets face it how could it go wrong!? It simply cannot.
Upon first use of this lip balm, I was shocked to see that it was a clear balm. For some reason I was expecting it to be yellow or something, NO idea why. The texture of the balm is also quite runny a very water like texture when it is applied. It feels incredible when its on my lips, I am forever rubbing them together. It is so hydrating, one of the most hydrating lip balms I have used in forever. I only have to reapply it a few times a day to keep my lips feeling tip top shape.
For £4.75 for 10ml, it is a little more up there in price compared to the lip balms you can get in Boots. But guys, you are paying for top notch lip care here. And with Valentines day coming up, who doesn't want kissable lips!
