I want to see a show of hands of all the people who get excited when Makeup Revolution do a new launch! I know I do and recently they are releasing new products weekly. Their sister company I Love Makeup have recently brought out the I Love Obsession line. These palettes are made up of 10 shadows with a mixture of shimmer shades and matte shades.
Up first is Pure Cult. This palette reminds me a lot of Urban Decay Naked 3 with the pinky shades. It consists of 4 matte shades and 6 shimmer shades all ranging from highlight shades up to shades you can use to create a smoky eye. My two favourite shades out of this palette are the 4th and 5th shades on the top row. With their rose gold like shimmer they automatically took my interest when I saw this palette. As you can see from the swatches the colours are very pigmented as they always are when it comes to Makeup Revolution. They all compliment each other perfectly, making creating looks very easy as you simply cannot go wrong.
I have used Pure Cult a few times now and the looks I have created have lasted all day, with very minimal movement on my eyelids. This is a very versatile palette to have in any collection.
Next up is Wild In The Wind. This palette just reminds me of Spring, doesn't it you? With its bright blues and rich purples this palette is such a fun cute palette to own. Wild In The Wind is made up of 3 matte shades and 7 shimmer shades. I quite like the fact that these palette don't have the same amount of shimmer/matte shades. It makes them a little more unique to other companies when they have a product lines out. (Does that sentence even make sense?)
My favourite shade in this palette has got to be that bright blue shade, its a shade I know I have nothing like in any other palette. I think this shade would look fab on the lower lash line to add that little pop of colour to any look.
With both of these palette the shadows are so buttery and easy to blend is actually crazy to think these only cost £3.99! Yes £3.99 for all of these beautiful shades.
