After Bath Routine.

Hello there;

Did you read my last post? If not here it is.
This is a follow up to that. The pamper evening continues.

I guess this is more of a skin care routine. But I am naughty and I am rubbish at doing this daily. When you work shifts like I do, coming home at 11pm last thing I am thinking about is lathering myself up in lotion.

As soon as I get out of the bath, I wrap my hair in a towel and dab myself dry with my erm.... body towel? Is that what its called. Yano that big one. Once I am dryish I use Soap and Glorys, The Righteous Butter

My Bath Time Routine

Hello there;

Don't you just love reading or watching what people use in the bath? Or their skin care routines? I know its not just me!

I love being nosey into peoples lives to see what they do, how they do it and what products they use. So why not do my own?

Now I don't use any of this high end stuff as I just simply cannot afford it. All high street for me. No shame in that at all. We all need to start somewhere right?

I feel that a lush filled bath is a perfect way to relax and get a spa like feeling at a fraction of the price. In today's bath I used the Lush Think Pink bath bomb. One of my personal favourites.

BB or CC?

Hello there;

My skin is awful. Its slightly hyper pigmented, it has red spots, dark spots, ACTUAL spots. It's a mess. So when I have to be around thousands of people everyday, I know I need something to cover some of these up without doing a full face of make up everyday.

So my question to you, what is better CC or BB?

BirchBox - Tiny Tweaks

Hello there;

Okay okay, I need to be honest here. This is my second BirchBox, I didn't review my first one as I got it last month and I didn't blog in December. So sorry guys.

Now I have that out of the way, lets carry on.

So the first thing I realised about this box is, WHERE IS THE GODDAMN BAG?!

I thought that was lovely in the last box, something completely different compared to other beauty boxes such as GlossyBox. But no. BirchBox has gone to a tissue paper effect. I really hope it is just this month and we are back to normal next month. Pleasethanksbye.

The theme for this months blog is "Tiny Tweaks", items that can be used as part of resolutions. Really good idea don't you think? It covers most areas too, diet, skin care and hair care. Also there was a lot of hype over this box as it was going to contain a Benefit product. OooOoooOO I know.

So what did I get I hear you ask? I shall start.

Girl-O-Whirl

Hello there;

This is again another just before Christmas treat to myself. Oh I was naughty this year hehe. In my defence though, I blame Boots for sending out a email telling me that Soap & Glory's Girl-O-Whirl was on offer.

I just could not resist.

Ahhhh so many pretty colours!

It comes with 6 Lid Stuff eyeshadows, 6 Supercolourfabulipsticks, Glow All Out, Solar Powder, Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick, Thick & Fast mascara and 5 brushes.

Gimme Some Lovin'

Hello there;

Just before Christmas, myself and Charlotte Rose decided to go into our local town centre for some Christmas shopping andddd maybe a little self shopping. I hadn't been into our town centre for a while, so was unaware of the Benefit counter that had recently opened in Debenhams. Such a lovely surprise for me.

Upon walking into Debenhams, Benefit had a sale on. Bad news for my purse. But I thought no, I will just buy Hoola that I had been wanting for a while. I believe it was down to about £20 instead of its usual price of £23.50. I thought this was brilliant. Until the lady working the counter talked me into buying this.

Book Review #2 Billy and Me.

Hello there;

I don't even know where to begin with this post. As I have never loved a book so much so instantly. Maybe that seems a little daft but, this book drew me in so much it was like a whirlwind romance that happened over 3 nights.

Profile Pictures.

Hello there;

My dear friend Charlotte Rose, tagged me this morning in a post to do with my profile photos on Facebook.

I have been on Facebook for a long while now, which leads me to having A LOT of profile photos.
These are not all of them, I had to narrow it down from 114 to under 100. And at that it's still missed off my last 4 profile photos.

As you can see I am a massive fan of the "selfie" even before that became a thing. I am well trained from my MySpace days.

You can see different friends throughout, my boyf, family and the odd animal.

From doing this, it has made me miss my blonde hair too much. Loved being blonde.

Ahhhh the memories.

I tag in this Vanessa, she is new to blogging so you should totally go check her out!

2013 Favourites - Part 1

Hello there;

This is the first beauty post of 2014, so why not look over the past year and see what my most favourite and used makeup products were.

Shall we dive right in?

Primer

Monu Illuminating Primer SPF15 - £24.95 50ml - www.monushop.co.uk

I got this travel size (20ml) in a recent Glossybox and at first I wasn't struck on it as it goes on rather white. But I stuck with it and I love it, after a couple of minutes the whiteness does sink in leaving a smooth canvas for the rest of my make up. I have used it every time I do a full make up look. My foundation sticks to this primer and I feel like it gives me that extra little something.

2014 Resolutions

Hello there;

I get it, its cliché to make resolutions and its also cliché to not keep them. But I feel obliged every year to make a few of my own. It's a habit I can't break.

I really didn't want to make loads that seemed unreasonable, because I think that is the trap most people fall into. Making 10+ promises to yourself and probably not even keeping any of them. So on this gloomy Monday morning, I have sat and thought of 4.
4 seems reasonable right?

Katie Nails #3

Hello there;

Similar to my blog, I gave my nails a break from gel over December, knowing that I would probably ruin whatever Katie did for me. But with the Brown's wedding fast approaching I knew they needed doing!

All I said to Katie was "I need them a oxblood red". Whatever she did after that was down to her.

Why oxblood I hear you ask? That was the colour of my dress I was wearing to the wedding and I wanted to match it.

Once Katie had sorted my nails back to normal shape and standard the mixing began.

As you can see it took a few attempts to get the perfect colour. It took 3 colours mixed together to makes the colour Katie thought was acceptable.

2014

Hello there;

Have you missed me?
Has it been a little quiet?

Well I am back now, back to annoy you. Back to try and review stuff. Back to reality.

This might be a little bit of a long post...

December is always a busy month for me. Working in retail, I pretty much move into work in December. I hardly spent any time at home apart from to sleep for a few hours. With the few precious hours I had to myself, I saw friends or spent time with my other half. I didn't really have time to blog. But I have already said sorry for that in my last post.

I had the most wonderful Christmas, got well and truly spoilt rotten. So many unexpected presents off my family and friends. I hate the build up to Christmas but once the day has arrived I love it! Seeing the reaction on the faces of people I love when they open presents I have carefully picked out for them is amazing. I get such a buzz from it.

So much food and drink was consumed, but isn't that what Christmas is about to overindulge. Yeah I thought so too!

Then NYE happened, I spent it with loads of my closest friends. Drinking, playing drinking games and having a giggle. But NYE is the most special for me at midnight. As soon as we have all had a cheer and welcomed in the new year. It becomes mine and my boyfriends anniversary.

4 years now that boy has put up with me and it has been amazing. Now I would usually go into some waffle about how much I love him and yadayadayada. But if you know me personally you will already know our story. And for you that don't, I may post the story one day....

I think that is all for now, my usual spontaneous blogging will begin again soon! >.<
